I've completed drivers education what do I do now?

Answer:

If you received your driver’s education completion (OL-237) and drivers training enrollment (OL-392) certificates and you are 15½ or older, with both parents/guardians consent you can go to DMV and take a written test. If you pass the written test and have possession of an instruction permit call us at (818)77-DRIVE Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm to set appointments for behind the wheel lessons. Remember, when going to DMV in addition to the certificates mentioned above you must have a parent consent form (DL-44), $26.00, your birth certificate or a valid passport, and Social Security Number. You can find more information by reading the California Driver’s Handbook section: Minor’s Permit Requirements (pages 7-8).
